With this DIY kit you are ready to create this pretty mini wallet at home from durable, rescued leather. Curious what that means? Take a look here!

Necessities:

To make the mini wallet at home you will need the following tools.

  • Sharp knife or fabric scissors
  • Cutting board
  • Fast drying glue
  • Pliers (or a long nail and hammer)

About Monsak

Monsak stands for practical simplicity and minimalist design. All bags are designed from founder Margriet Meijer’s search for the perfect bag. And that means something different for everyone. With every bag, a new story arises. But what they all have in common is that you are inseparable from the first meeting.

A perfect bag makes all other bags superfluous. A unique bag made with attention for you will last for years. The models are part of our permanent collection and we only use rescued leather. Leather that is frowned upon by very strict rules of major fashion houses. We save this leather, we cut around the damages and welcome all the colors they neglected. A sustainable way to give parties that were not good enough for demanding customers a second and better life.

The bags are made in the Monsak workshop in Amsterdam-West. You can also go there for a custom-made bag according to your design, made by Margriet or you can roll up your sleeves during a workshop. Visit their website here!
